Lenten Season
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Lent is a Christian season of spiritual preparation before easter. It begins on Ash Wednesday. During Lent, many Christians observe a period of Fasting, repentance and moderation, self-denial and spiritual discipline. The purpose of Lenten season is to set aside time for reflection on Jesus Christ – to consider his suffering and his sacrifice his life, death, burial and resurrection.
Lenten season is the best time to reminisce, an opportunity to be with God. To give time to communicate and to live according to God’s gospel. This is the time to ask forgiveness to others, to ourselves and especially to God. Time to feed ourselves with it’s spiritual needs and searching while meditating the essence why we are here in this world.
Materials things are just in this world to enjoy, but let’s not forget that there is a better place for us to stay. There’s a “PROMISE LAND” waiting for us as a reward for obeying God’s will.
Let’s put God above all! Let’s live with Jesus Christ and we all be together stay in a place called “Promise Land”
