Althea Oriel

I Am Who I Wanted It To Be!

A name which means “golden healer” and a name Oriel sounds unique. I can say that with my name alone I am one in a billion.

I’m just an ordinary girl, dreaming for a better future, wanted to have a happy life and thanking God for everyday blessing of life.

Sometimes, being a teenager with an aggressive and risk taker mind, there are decisions I made, resulted to failure.  I usually blame myself and wanted to be alone using my time to think what’s wrong with the decision I made.  But after that, I will stand still and life must go on. Those failure makes me stronger and molds me to be a better version of me.

There are times that I laugh after I cried.  I am a short tempered person. I don’t want noisy environment but when I’m with my friends I can laugh as loud as I can    ( how ironic right?).

This pandemic period, as we quarantined ourselves for almost ten months and still counting, I realized the importance of being with our family. Those times that we are always with our siblings, laughing together, playing together as if we are little children.  Doing household chores with my mother and sister (as I am not used to do).

My future?  I’ll never think of my future yet.  I will enjoy the life of being a junior student.

I will study hard and enjoy life.  I will always treasure my moments with my parents and siblings and always thanking God for giving the opportunity to say good morning to everyone.

God bless us all!
